WeCredit is a digital lending and credit-risk automation platform serving NBFCs, financial institutions and fintech companies.

As loan volumes and regulatory requirements increased, WeCredit needed a secure, low-latency and fully governed AI automation platform to manage borrower onboarding, conversational support and compliance-sensitive workflows — without exposing any AI or data layer publicly.

Challenges

• Ensuring zero public exposure of AI models, storage or pipelines.
• Processing regulated financial data with end-to-end encryption and auditability.
• Delivering low-latency AI inference inside a private multi-AZ architecture.
• Managing high-volume borrower conversations in real time.
• Building continuous data refresh and automated model retraining workflows.
• Governing prompts, knowledge bases and training datasets for compliance.
• Enabling human-in-the-loop review for sensitive responses.
• Aligning with AWS Responsible AI and the Well-Architected Framework.

Solutions

• Built a fully private, multi-AZ VPC architecture with restrictive routing and no public AI exposure.
• Routed requests via API Gateway → VPC-enabled Lambda → Amazon Bedrock for secure conversational inference.
• Managed session context in DynamoDB and semantic retrieval via OpenSearch.
• Created a KMS-encrypted S3 data lake (raw → processed → training) with Glue ETL pipelines.
• Automated knowledge refresh and model refinement using EventBridge + Bedrock fine-tuning workflows.
• Implemented Human-in-the-Loop review using Amazon A2I and SQS.
• Enabled governance and observability through CloudWatch dashboards, CloudTrail auditing and least-privilege IAM.
• Designed a serverless-first architecture aligned with AWS Well-Architected pillars.
