Why Choose Integrated EDR?
| Capability | Traditional Antivirus | Integrated EDR |
|---|---|---|
| Threat Detection | Signature-based; blind to novel/fileless threats | Signatures + behavioral/heuristic detection for unknown threats |
| Behavioral Analysis | Absent; flags on file hash/pattern match only | Monitors process, network, and file activity; flags anomalous execution |
| Real-Time Monitoring | On-access file scanning; no process-level telemetry | Continuous kernel/user-space telemetry; activity recorded pre-detection |
| Threat Investigation | Minimal context; shows file name and signature hit only | Full process tree, parent-child, CLI args, network, and file I/O per alert |
| Ransomware Protection | Catches known ransomware binaries; misses novel variants and LOLBin abuse | Detects mass file modification, shadow copy deletion, and abnormal encryption |
| Alerting | Binary detect/no-detect; no severity scoring or triage context | Risk-scored alerts with MITRE ATT&CK tags, deduplication, and triage context |
| Response Capability | Quarantine or delete offending file only | Remote isolation, process kill, file remediation, and live response shell |
| Expert Support | Self-managed investigation | Access to AceCloud cybersecurity experts |
Get enterprise-grade endpoint protection without introducing additional tools, workflows, or management overhead.

Frequently Asked Questions
EDR Integration adds enterprise endpoint protection capabilities directly to supported Compute environments through an integrated add-on experience.
EDR is designed to simplify deployment and reduce operational overhead. No manual steps needed, the complete process is automated
At this time, EDR Integration can only be enabled during the provisioning of new Compute VMs. Existing VMs are not eligible for EDR enablement after deployment. For new workloads, you can activate EDR as part of the VM provisioning process.
Customers will receive immediate notifications for critical and high-severity detections, with batched email updates for medium and low-severity alerts.
Customers can consult AceCloud cybersecurity experts for triage and remediation guidance.
No. EDR is available only as an integrated add-on with Compute VMs.
