Leadership in enterprises is undergoing a fundamental shift in an era defined by rapid technological advancements such as artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain and the Internet of Things (IoT). Experts opine that the traditional command-and-control approach is being replaced by agile leadership as companies adapt to the fast-changing tech landscape.
According to Amit Narula, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Acecloud, the pace of technological disruption in the last decade has necessitated a move toward agile leadership.
“A decade or two back it was more of a command-and-control centre kind of approach but right now in the past decade most enterprises are moving towards an agile centric way of leadership. Considering the fact that we are witnessing technology disruptions more rapidly, having focused agile leadership is foundational to deal with people instead of servant leadership,” said Narula.
